Detailed information on the processing of your personal data and on the subject of data protection in general can be found in our data protection principles at https://www.diamonde.de/en/dataprotectionprinciples. We will inform you there about the processing of data of almost all groups of people, such as interested parties, customers, partners, applicants, suppliers and business partners.

Data collection on our website

On the one hand, your data is collected when you communicate it to us. This may be data that you enter in a contact form, for example. Other data is automatically collected by our IT systems when you visit our website. These are mainly technical data (e.g. Internet browser, operating system or time of page visit).

Cookies

We use so-called cookies on our website. Cookies do not cause any damage to your computer and do not contain any viruses. Cookies serve to make our website more user-friendly, effective and secure. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your computer and saved by your browser.

Server log files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  •     Information about the browser type and version used
  •     The user's operating system
  •     The user's Internet service provider
  •     The IP address of the user
  •     Date and time of access
  •     Websites from which the user's system reaches our website
  •     Websites accessed by the user's system through our website

These data are not combined with other data sources.

The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO, which permits the processing of data for the fulfilment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact form (Message in a box)

If you send us enquiries using the contact form, your details from the enquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The data entered in the contact form is therefore processed exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. All you need to do is send us an informal e-mail. The legality of the data processing processes carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered by you in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete, your consent for storage revoked or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g. after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

Storyletter (Subscribe to Newsletter)

If you register for our newsletter, we need an e-mail address from you. Additional data is not collected or is voluntary. The data will only be used for sending the newsletter. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of the data entered in the application form is therefore exclusively based on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO). You can revoke this consent at any time. Just send us an e-mail or unsubscribe via the "unsubscribe"-link in the newsletter. The legality of the data processing processes carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.

The data entered for setting up the subscription will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage or the purpose for data storage ceases to apply (e.g. if the newsletter is discontinued). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

What else you should know about the protection of your data

We would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g. communication by e-mail) can have security gaps. A complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible. This website uses SSL or TLS encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or requests that you send to us as the site operator. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties. Our website may contain links to other websites. Please note that if you click on one of these links, you will be taken to another website for which we assume no responsibility. We encourage you to read the privacy statements of all such sites as their policies may differ from our privacy statement.

Data policy for our Facebook fanpage

DiaMonde e.K. uses the technical platform and services of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland for the information service offered here.

Please note that you use this Facebook page and its functions under your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of interactive functions (e.g. commenting, sharing, rating). When you visit our Facebook page, Facebook collects your IP address and other information available on your PC in the form of cookies. This information is used to provide us as the operator of the Facebook pages with statistical information about the use of the Facebook page. Facebook provides more information on this under the following link:

https://de-de.facebook.com/help/pages/insights

The data collected about you in this context will be processed by Facebook Ltd. and, if necessary, transferred to countries outside the European Union. Facebook describes in general terms what information it receives and how it is used in its data usage guidelines. There you will also find information on how to contact Facebook and how to set up advertisements. The data use guidelines are available at the following link:

https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy

The manner in which Facebook uses the data from visiting Facebook pages for its own purposes, the extent to which activities on the Facebook page are assigned to individual users, how long Facebook stores this data and whether data from a visit to the Facebook page is passed on to third parties is not conclusively and clearly named by Facebook and is not known to us.

When you access a Facebook page, the IP address assigned to your device is transmitted to Facebook. According to Facebook, this IP address is made anonymous (for "German" IP addresses) and deleted after 90 days. Facebook also stores information about its users' end devices (e.g. as part of the "Login Notification" function); Facebook may thus be able to assign IP addresses to individual users.

If you are currently logged in to Facebook as a user, there is a cookie with your Facebook ID on your device. This enables Facebook to understand that you visited this page and how you used it. This also applies to all other Facebook pages. Facebook buttons integrated into websites allow Facebook to record your visits to these websites and assign them to your Facebook profile. On the basis of this data, content or advertising can be offered tailored to you.

To avoid this, you should log out of Facebook or disable the "Stay signed in" feature, delete the cookies present on your device and exit and restart your browser. This will delete Facebook information that can immediately identify you. This allows you to use our Facebook page without revealing your Facebook account. When you access interactive features of the site (I like it, commenting, sharing, news, etc.), a Facebook login screen appears. Once you have logged in, Facebook will recognize you as a specific user again.

For information about how to manage or delete existing information about you, please visit the following Facebook support pages:

https://de-de.facebook.com/about/privacy

We as provider of the information service do not collect and process any further data from your use of our service.

This data protection declaration is currently valid and has the status as of June 2018.
